# Read the Welcome Credits Offer

> The free welcome credits a new account is granted when it signs up with a verified email, and how many days they last. `offer` is `null` while the offer is closed. A non-null offer says what the offer grants, not that a particular sign-up right now will be granted. No authentication; the answer is the same for every caller and may be cached for 5 minutes.
