# search_nevermined_documentation

> Docs MCP tool: semantic search across the Nevermined documentation knowledge base, returning titles, snippets, and page links.

Search across the Nevermined documentation knowledge base to find relevant information, code examples, API references, and guides. Use it to answer questions about Nevermined, find specific pages, understand how features work, or locate implementation details. The search returns contextual content with titles and direct links to the documentation pages. See the [Docs MCP overview](/docs/mcp/docs-mcp/overview) for how to connect.

**Charges:** nothing — this server reads public documentation only.

## Arguments

| Argument | Required | Type | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `query` | yes | string | The search query — plain language works best (`"how to authenticate"`, `"rate limiting"`). |

## Returns

Ranked results, each with a title, a contextual snippet, and a link to the page. Results are the best entry point for a broad or conceptual question.

To read a page in full after searching, use [`query_docs_filesystem_nevermined_documentation`](/docs/mcp/docs-mcp/query-docs-filesystem): append `.mdx` to the path a result returns and `head` or `cat` it — a result at `/some/page` is read with `head -200 /some/page.mdx`.
